Principal
As the founder and principal of TGA, it is my privilege to lead an institution committed to delivering exceptional, flexible, and globally accessible education. With a background in curriculum development aligned with Canadian educational standards, I have spent my career building learning environments that empower students to thrive—academically, personally, and professionally.
Toronto Global Academy was established with a vision: to make high-quality education accessible to students regardless of their location or background. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to support the development of several educational institutions—from ground up. That experience has shaped TGA's foundation: a robust curriculum, a dedicated teaching team, strong student support systems, and a focus on continuous innovation. Vice Principal
Yasir Nasir brings a strong background in educational leadership, entrepreneurship, and project management to his role as Vice Principal. With years of experience owning and operating tutoring centres, Yasir has a deep understanding of student needs and academic success strategies. He has previously served as a principal at a private high school, where he led curriculum planning, staff development, and school operations.
In addition to his leadership roles in education, Yasir has worked as a consultant, advising schools and educational startups on program design, operational efficiency, and student engagement. His project management experience has allowed him to successfully oversee the launch and growth of various academic initiatives.
As the primary architect behind TG Academy's digital presence, Yasir has been instrumental in developing our online platform and ensuring it meets the highest standards of accessibility and user experience. His technical insight combined with educational expertise allows him to bridge the gap between pedagogy and technology.
Yasir is passionate about creating inclusive, student-focused learning environments that prepare young learners for long-term success.
Curriculum Compliance Specialist
Antonietta Ramagnano has been teaching for 19 years, and has a vast wealth of experiences in education. Having completed her Undergraduate degree at the University of Windsor, obtaining a Bachelors of Political Science with a minor in History, she then went on to complete a Bachelors of Education from Niagara University in Ontario and a Masters of Arts with a specialization in Global Studies from the University of Athabasca.
Mrs. Ramagnano has taught elementary and high school in Europe (Italy). She has also been an ESL teacher and linguistics coach for a multinational American company. She has many years of experience in curriculum development and instructional design. Her passion is teaching the social sciences, ESL and English.
Once she received her OCT she began teaching ENG4U and all other levels of English courses. Mrs. Ramagnano also has experience teaching grade 12 business courses including BBB4M. Her experience has also brought her to teaching many social sciences courses including Nutrition and Health, World of Fashion and all levels of history and geography courses.
Her dedication to curriculum compliance ensures that TG Academy maintains the highest standards in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education requirements.
