Enroll in Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U), a Grade 12 University Preparation course. This course builds on students' previous experience with functions and their developing understanding of rates of change. Students will solve problems involving vectors and representations of lines and planes in three-dimensional space; broaden their understanding of rates of change to include derivatives; and apply these concepts to real-world relationships.
Immediate LMS Access Provided
Comprehensive study of rate of change concepts and applications
Comprehensive study of derivatives and their applications concepts and applications
Comprehensive study of geometry and algebra of vectors concepts and applications
This course builds on students' previous experience with functions and their developing understanding of rates of change. Students will solve problems involving geometric and algebraic representations of vectors and representations of lines and planes in three-dimensional space; broaden their understanding of rates of change to include the derivatives of polynomial, sinusoidal, exponential, rational, and radical functions; and apply these concepts and skills to the modelling of real-world relationships. All TGA programs are delivered via the Moodle Learning Management System, offering 24/7 access to lessons, assignments, and teacher support from any global location.
